Our 3-night, 4-day trip to Kullu-Manali from Ludhiana, Punjab had a mix of experiences. Here’s a detailed account of the journey: Journey to Manali: We started our trip at midnight, taking a shared cab from Ludhiana Bus Stand to Zirakpur. Unfortunately, one of the passengers was drunk and attempted to drink alcohol inside the cab. The driver, however, did not allow this behavior, and the passenger slept for the remainder of the ride until we reached the drop point at Dhillon Plaza, Zirakpur (the halfway mark). We waited for about 30 minutes at the McDonald's in Dhillon Plaza before being picked up by the bus to continue our journey to Manali. Arrival in Manali: The bus took us to the Zingbus Lounge in Manali, where a local cab driver picked us up and dropped us at our hotel, Manalsu Green, around 9 AM. Despite the hotel's usual check-in policy being at 12 PM, we were allowed to check in early, which was a positive. However, there were a few inconveniences upon arrival: We were not allowed to have breakfast on the first day. There was no lighting in our room due to maintenance work. The hotel relied entirely on solar energy for hot water, meaning there was no geyser or heater available for warmth. Sightseeing and Activities: The sightseeing experience was somewhat disappointing as we didn’t get to see snow during our trip, even as we went up to Atal Tunnel (from December 4th to 8th). However, we did enjoy activities like ziplining and river rafting, which added some excitement to the trip. Hotel Experience: While the local cab driver was friendly, he lacked knowledge of some local places. The food at the hotel was simple but satisfactory, and overall, the staff was decent. However, on Day 4, we were disappointed by a large group of around 15-20 bachelor guests who checked in and created noise on our floor, particularly in the morning. This affected the breakfast area, which was crowded, and food service was slow as a result. Despite this, the hotel continued to accept bookings for such groups, which seemed to disrupt the overall experience. Summary: While we enjoyed the scenic route and adventure activities, the hotel experience left something to be desired due to the lack of proper amenities, noise disturbances, and some operational issues. Nevertheless, the trip overall was pleasant, and we made the most of the activities and the route itself

I would rate it as 3, for the reason that the stay at Jaisalmer at both properties were not great, especially at the sand dunes, the rooms at the property was poorly maintained and I would recommend you to visit the property before even allocating it to guest. Otherwise rest is good.
