We embarked on a journey of a lifetime with Young India Adventures, and it was truly an unforgettable experience! Their exceptional planning and expertise took us on an incredible adventure through the breathtaking landscapes of Ladakh and Kargil. Our journey began in Hundar, where we marveled at the picturesque sand dunes and majestic mountains. From there, we ventured to the charming village of Turtuk, where we were warmly welcomed by the locals and indulged in delicious apricots and apples. Next, we explored the scenic Thang Village, surrounded by towering peaks and serene valleys. One of the highlights of our trip was visiting the Siachen Base Camp, a feat that not many travelers can boast of! The sheer magnitude of the glacier and the bravery of the Indian Army left us in awe. Our journey continued to the stunning Pangong Lake, where we witnessed the most breathtaking sunset of our lives. The crystal-clear waters and the ever-changing hues of the sky left us spellbound. Last but not least, we visited the historic town of Kargil, where we learned about the bravery and sacrifice of the Indian soldiers during the Kargil War. The visit to the war memorial was a poignant reminder of the sacrifices made by our heroes.
