From March to May, the temperature rises steadily and almost each year reaches a good 45 degrees Celsius, if not more. But if you can withstand the heat then this may be a good time to visit the ancient sites such as the Adhai-din-ka-Jhonpra, the Dargah of Khawaja Sahibs, Akbar’s Palace and Nasiyan Temple. You can also visit the nearby town of Pushkar which houses the only Brahma temple in the world. Sunscreen and an umbrella may come in handy during this time of year.

Monsoon hits Ajmer in mid-June. The temperature varies from 26-34 degree Celsius. The city looks really beautiful during the rains and being surrounded by the Aravali mountains, one can see the dry landscape transform into lush green forests all around. Monsoon sure is a good time to be in Ajmer. The Ana Sagar lake and lake Foy Sagar are a must visit. You can also enjoy a boat ride here.
