It’s a good idea to shop for jewelry, pashmina, furniture made from walnut timber, handmade clothing, gorgeous rugs, and shawls. Basically, all that Kashmir is famous for. Though we would recommend you pick your deals from Srinagar (just about 50 km away). The best piece of purchase you can make while in Gulmarg is the Pheran (traditional woolen garment) from the Khan Cloth House here.
