How To Reach

Patong is one of the common places of interest in Phuket; it is located to the west coast of Phuket. This town is popularly known as the resort town of Thailand. Tourists mostly flock around the beaches in the months of January, August and July. The fastest way to reach Patong is by flight to Phuket and from there take a bus to Patong.
By Air:
Patong is near to Phuket international airport, around 35 km away. Tourists coming from India can take up a direct flight to Phuket, and from there they can board a bus to reach Patong. It takes about 40-45 minutes to reach Patong by regular buses.
By Bus:
There are direct buses from Phuket to Patong town. Tourists can board regular buses, or the airport has started the system of shuttle buses which take people directly to Patong from the airport. It takes about 90 minutes. There are ample buses available connecting Phuket and Patong.
Getting Around:
People can roam around Patong town either by walking or by hiring motorbikes or taxis. Tourists can also avail the option of public transport like songthaew minivans or sedan style taxis. There are plenty of Tuktuks available too.

The weather of Patong is quite favourable as the climate remains consistent throughout the year. Patong may experience humid weather too at times. February is the least humid month whereas October is the most humid month. The best time to visit Patong is in the winters.
Spring (March to May):
Tourists will find that the temperatures in Patong are fairly warm during the spring season. While one can expect rains for 7 to 10 days of the month, the temperature hovers between 32 degree C and 34 degree C. Water activities are in full swing and the tourists can enjoy different water sports like paragliding, snorkelling and others.
Summer (June to August):
While there is not a lot of variation in the temperatures of Spring and Summer in Patong, one may expect warm temperatures with occassional showers. Tourists continue to throng the area and it is a good time to relax and unwind at the beach.
Monsoons (September to November):
With a pleasant climate and the temperature varying between 30 degree C and 31 degree C, it is an enjoyable time to be in Patong. One can expect heavy rainfall for 14 to 18 days a month, accompanied by cool winds. The flora and fauna are in full bloom during this time and the locales look charming. Water activities are avoided at this time.
Winter (December to February):
