New Digha beach is a new beach in Digha that has been developed about 2 km from old Digha beach. This new beach is bigger, cleaner and better maintained and not as crowded or congested with shops like the old one. The old beach cannot be used as it is badly affected by soil-erosion and the beach has to be held together with stones and concrete steps. It also gets extremely overcrowded. The new beach is pretty to look at and to relax.

This is a tranquil beach that is located on Orissa border nestled between New Digha beach and Talsari. Though a mere 3 km from Digha station, it is very different from the more commercial and crowded beaches of New Digha. Dotted with casuarina trees, this is a lonely and picturesque beach which tourists visit for some relaxed moments. Accommodation is also available, though not very luxurious in nature. You can even hire tents from West Bengal Tourism and OCEANA Tourist Complex.
