Winters in Balasore mark the best time to visit the city. This season is known to be the most pleasant time of the year with a cool and comfortable climate even during the peak winter months. While it is cold enough to layer on some warm clothes, it doesn’t get too chilly to enjoy the city and its attractions.

Summers in Balasore are not a good time to pay the city a visit. The weather gets extremely hot with temperatures that can reach above 40⁰C during peak summer months. The monsoons arrive in July and the rain brings some relief from the intense heat; however, the weather just goes back to being even more humid on the days when it doesn’t rain.
