Dirang doesn’t have an airport of its own. The nearest airport to Dirang is in Tezpur, which is about 86km from the destination, with the closest International Airport being the Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport in Guwahati, that’s roughly 152km. The Guwahati airport’s well connected with most metros in the country with multiple flights operating on the route regularly. The best way to reach Dirang would be to travel by air to Guwahati and then make the onward journey to Dirang.

There are two direct trains between Guwahati and Majbat that include Intercity Exp or Indica. The minimum travel time is about 3 hours more or less. Another popular train connection to Dirang comes in from Tezpur with over 6 regular trains to town.
