By Road:
Roing is a well-connected town with all the major cities across Assam and Arunachal Pradesh. Still one of the best ways to reach Roing is by road. One will easily find many Arunachal Pradesh State Transport buses available via National highway 15 and 115. So just hop on and find yourself in this paradise. Not just the destination but the journey to this picturesque town is also a treat to eyes.
By Train:
If you are the one who romances the railways, a train journey is idyllic and the best mode. Dibrugarh Town Railway Station in Tinsukia is the nearest Railway Station to reach Roing but the town is still at a distance 113 km and the last mile connectivity is only through roads. Dibrugarh is connected by trains to several cities like Guwahati, Chennai, and New Delhi. After getting down at Dibrugarh you can either hire a taxi or take a bus to reach Roing.
By Air:
If you are on a time crunch and have the means then you can also take Pawan Hans operated helicopter flights easily available from cities of Guwahati, Dibrugarh and Naharlagun; all located in the neighboring state of Assam which has better air connectivity. If not, you can take a flight to the nearest airport which is Mohanbari airport located at a distance of 149 km.

Summer (March to June):
If you are not the one to take to the chills, then summer is the ideal time to visit Roing. Temperatures hover around 20°C - 30°C. You can explore places like Sally Lake, Nehru Van Udyan and one of the most favorite tourist destinations, Hunli. Because of the altitude, the weather is pleasant during summers making it the best time for a visit.
Monsoons (July to September):
This region experiences heavy rainfall during monsoon. But if you are a nature lover this is the ideal time to visit as one can experience the freshness amidst flora and fauna in the mountains. Winter (October to February):

A famous fishing and angling destination, the Iphi Pani Ghats is at a distance of 10 km from Roing and is any angler's dream destination for the catch and the rush of waters.
