Bomdila Monastery

It was built in 1965, and it is considered to be a copy of Tsona Gontse Monastery, Tibet. Bomdila Monastery belongs to Mahayana Buddhism. There is a Buddha temple inside the Monastery which is very beautiful. Recently they have added a huge meditation hall in the monastery.
Sessa Orchid Sanctuary

It is also called the temple of Orchid. You can find orchids of almost all size, colour, and shape with more the 2500 cultivated orchids of 80 different species spread over 100 km with a lush green background. It is near Sessa Orchid Sanctuary and it covers an area of 215 km. It is home to more than 450 species of birds like the Cormorans, Herons, Black Stork, Oriental White Ibis, Ducks, Hawks, Eagles, Quails, Tragopan, Cuckoos, Woodpeckers, etc. Many animals are also found here like the Black Bear, Red Panda, Bengal tiger, langur etc. You can also see the Kameng River flowing through the beautiful meadows.
