Pushkar does not have an airport but the nearest one is in Jaipur, which is roughly 150 kms away. The Jaipur airport has flights coming and going to all major cities of India. Some international flights are there as well.

From the airport, you can easily hail a taxi. From there, it is a 3 hour drive. Some people pre-book the cab, whereas others hire one outside the airport. You can always choose between the two!

Pushkar is a hilly region, and therefore, direct trains are not very frequent. The best option is to take a train to Ajmer from where it is a 30 minute drive. The Ajmer Railway station has plenty of trains connecting different places in Rajasthan as well as major India cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Allahabad, Lucknow, etc. Some famous trains that run on a daily basis to this city include Shatabdi Express, Pink City Express, Rajdhani express etc. From the Ajmer station, buses to Pushkar are easily available.

Buses to Pushkar are easily available from Ajmer and they connect you to other major cities as well. Buses are available from both, the bus stand as well as the railway station. Driving your own car is also an option, if you live in one of the nearby cities. You can also hire a taxi for the same. They will have a range of prices depending on the time of the year and the car being AC or non-AC.

Auto-rickshaws are not available in this holy town. But it is a fairly small town, and getting around on foot is feasible. In fact, to enjoy the ghats, and the overall aura of the place, it is best to walk your way around. However, you can also rent a bike for getting around in Pushkar.
