Summer season in Rajim is the hottest season in the year and it lasts from the month of April all the way to the second last week of June. Temperatures during this time range from 43°C in the daytime to 32°C in the night. The summers are brutal and it is not the best time to visit the place. Due to the heat there is a lot of humidity as well and this can cause people to sweat while trying to go sightseeing. Even though it is quite hot in this season, a lot of people visit the place to see its beauty. Schools have summer vacations in the summer and a lot o families plan their vacation to Rajim during the season.
Monsoon (July-October)

After the heat has passed, the monsoon season begins in the month of July and lasts all the way until the second last week of October. Temperatures during this time range from 28°C in the daytime to 21°C in the night with moderate showers throughout the season. This season is a great time to visit Rajim as the cool showers are pleasant and generate cold wind, especially in the evening and nights. The best season to visit Rajim is the winter that starts from the very last week of October and last all the way to March. This is also the most popular seasons to visit as the Kumbh Mela is held in the month of January. The famous congregation of people to wash their sins in the holy River Mahanadi, is a pious act and is done by many Hindus in the region every year. Temperatures during winter range from 15°C in the daytime to approximately 5°C in the night. Some winters are brutal and temperatures may go down a degree or two more. Be sure to carry soft woolens for this trip if you plan to visit during this time as it could get quite cold.
