How to Reach

Spiti is a tough terrain, which makes its access a little bit challenging during the rains and snowy seasons. However, you can reach the valley by road via Kinnaur from Shimla route. If the weather is bright and good then you can also reach via Manali that goes through Rohtang Pass and Kunzum Pass. Though taxis and cabs are always available, it is better to ensure that the roads are clear.
By Air:
The nearest flight for your trip will be from Bhuntar airport which is located at 245 km from Spiti. Keep in mind that the access to this airport is restrictive, given the weather conditions. The next immediate airport for you will be Chandigarh which is located at a distance of 522 km.
By Train:
There are two nearest train stations including Chandigarh and Joginder Nagar. The connectivity of Joginder Nagar is not very commendable though.

Summer (March to June):
This is the time when the temperature in the valley is moderate which implies more action for you. Between March to June the temperature is more or less 15 degree Celsius. This is the time to seize the opportunity to plan a visit to the Pin Valley National Park or you can also choose to visit the monasteries set amidst serene landscapes.
Monsoon (July to September):
