This museum is a treasure trove of some amazing photographs including those of Gandhiji. You will also see some outstanding artefacts and a glimpse into the culture of the Adivasis. There is no entry fee for children who are up to 15 years of age and handicapped people. The museum is closed on Mondays and all government holidays. The museum is double storied and has four galleries. There is an auditorium on the ground floor. There is a coin gallery and a gallery for tribal art. Time will fly when you visit this museum.

Located close to the fort known as Bajnamath some 15 km from Jabalpur, there is the lake called Sangram Sagar Lake.
