Nohkalikai Waterfalls is around 5 km from Cherrapunji. It is also the fourth highest waterfalls in the world. It falls from a height of 1,100 ft, from a plateau which receives the highest rainfall in the world. It is a breath-taking experience to see how the water roars down from such a height. It has carved a blue pool where the water falls. The drive to Nohkalikai waterfall is quite enchanting on the tableland that leads to a cliff and you should hike a short distance to the viewpoint to experience the gorgeous sight of Nohkalikai Waterfalls plunging down into the pool which is hundreds of feet below. Mawsmai Caves

It is located at a distance of 6 km from Cherrapunji and is one of the major attractions in here. This limestone cave allows tourists to picture the wonders that nature can carve and admire it to the fullest. Although the cave is very long, only 150 m is open to the stourist. You can see the different structures in the cave, which are naturally formed due to the act of natural abrasion and underground water for many years.
Thangkharang Park

Situated at a distance of 12 km from the city on a cliff, this beautiful park is well maintained by the state forest department. The best part of the park experience is that you will be able to enjoy a 180-degree view of the Bangladesh plains from here on a clear day. You will be totally enthralled by the view of the Kynrem falls, which is the seventh highest falls. You can also see the Khoh Ramhah rock which is a single rock that looks like a big overturned cone-shaped basket. The beauty of the rock is further enhanced by the flow of the stream through it, which looks like a rapid waterfall.
Nohsngithiang Falls

It is the seventh highest waterfall in India plunging down from a height of 1035 ft. It is a few km from Cherrapunji and is a major tourist attraction in this area. It is also called the seven sister falls, since it falls down as seven streams. These seven sister falls can only be viewed during the monsoon season since they are perennial. What adds to the beauty of the falls is the setting sun, and the colours that burst out of the sky, reflecting off the water.
Mawlynnong Village
