Cherrapunji is one of the favourite destinations for the tourists; however, it does not have its own airport. The nearest airport is Umroi Airport in Shillong but it is only connected to Kolkata. The best way to reach Cherrapunji by air is to take a flight to Guwahati Airport at a distance of 181 km, which is very well connected to all the major Indian cities. However, on reaching Guwahati you either take a bus or a taxi to reach Cherrapunji.
