Being a hill station, Shillong does not have an airport. The nearest airport is Umroi Airport which is located near Barapaniand which is 25 km away from Shillong. The connectivity is quite limited to other cities. The Guwahati airport is situated 125 km from Shillong is well-connected to all the cities.
