This is the best and most efficient way to reach the city of Alicante. The El Altet or Alicante Airport is only 11 km outside the city center and is well-connected to the rest of Spain and other European cities with multiple daily domestic and international flights. Indian travellers will be required to catch a connecting flight to get to this destination. Additionally, there are multiple car and bus options available for visitors to choose from to get to the city and the journey takes about 30 to 40 minutes each way.

The journey by road to Alicante Bus Station is a bit long but is an affordable and efficient way to reach as well. The bus station is connected to other neighbouring cities in and around Spain. Valencia Airport is about 182 km away by road and Alicante can additionally be reached from both Madrid and Barcelona. Visitors can check out ticket prices online to avoid having to queue up and waste time in person. There is also the extra option of renting a car or private taxi based on the visitor's budgets.

This is another one of the best and most popular ways to reach Alicante. The Renfe Station is the main one, which is well-connected to most national and international destinations. Additionally, there are 2 smaller stations, namely the GV and Murcia Stations that are used for travelling to coastal and smaller, more local destinations. Tickets are affordable and can similarly be purchased online. It is ideal for visitors travelling locally to take a train as the ride is quicker and more comfy.

Getting in and around the city is relatively easy and economical as well. There is an efficient internal bus system with busses coming every few minutes to stops all over the city. Tickets usually cost a few Euros as the city isn't all that massive in size. Additionally, there is a tram system that can also be used. Visitors are also recommended to walk around and explore the city by foot. It is the best way to get familiar with your surroundings and soak in the vibe of the city.
