Milan is the second most humid region in Europe, with summers being highly humid. The best time to visit Milan is during spring, when the weather is pleasant. Spring (March-May)

The stylish city of Milan glows up even more during spring. After the cold summer, this season brings in the sun and temperatures start to rise. In March, the average temperature remains at 14°C (57 °F), that further continues to rise to 17°C (62 °F) in April and rises up even further to a perfect 21°C (70 °F) in May. With temperatures being moderate and very pleasant, spring is easily one of the best seasons to visit Milan. You can also experience a slight amount of rain during this season, with the occasional Tramontane or Bora Winds causing windstorms. If you visit Milan during spring, you can take part in the Easter celebrations of the city and can also visit the Milan Furniture Fair.
Summer (June-August)

Temperatures in summer go up a notch with heat and humidity taking over the city rapidly. The summers last for three months with June and July being the hottest months and rain majorly taking over during August. Temperatures during the daytime range from 26-29°C (79-84°F) and sometimes even higher, with night becoming a tad cooler at 13-16°C (55-61°F). June and July see occasional rain with the climate being highly humid and August sees bright days but also sees thunderstorms and hail. Summer nights are best spent in a cafe on cobbled roads with a glass of wine in your hands and warm summer breeze in your hair.
Autumn (September-November)

The season of autumn is basically an extended and a better version of summer, with a cooler temperature. It is not as hot as it is in summer and temperatures during the autumn months range from 12°C (53°F) to 25°C (77°F) during September and October. Mid October, the air starts to cool down and the city of Milan gets ready for the cozy winter. Temperatures in November start to drop and range between 8°C (46°F) to 18°C (64°F) making it quite chilly. Autumn is also the season that sees the most amount of rain, with the rainiest months seeing an average of 122 mm of rain and very little sunlight. Notable things to do during this season include attending the Grand Prix of Italy and the Milan Jazz Festival.
Winter (December-February)

Milan sees different kinds of weather throughout the year and welcomes the snow at the end of the year. The winters in Milan that last from the month of December to February see a drastic drop in temperatures that range from 6°C (43°F) in the daytime and -3°C (26°F) during the night. The Foehn winds that rise up during this time make the atmosphere extremely cold and rainfall which is frequent during Decembers make the atmosphere piercing cold. You must carry appropriate warm clothing while travelling in this season. Late December to February the city sees a good amount of snowfall, which makes the city look even more beautiful than it already is. Lights in the city during Christmas and New Year’s, and the Milan Fashion Week, amongst many other events are occasions that brighten the city and spruce up the people.
