One of the main things to do in Ranikhet is to check out the storied Jhula Devi Temple in Chaubatia Gardens 7 km away. Built in the 8th century, it draws thousands of pilgrims every year. The temple is dedicated to Goddess Durga. Devotees have tied thousands of bells as a sign of gratitude to the temple and lock a new wish with every bell.
