A small hill station as it is, Kasauli does not have a rail station. The nearest station is Kalka which is located at a distance of 25 km from Kasauli. Kalka again is pretty well connected by rail with most of the cities like Delhi, Kolkata, Amritsar, Mumbai and Chandigarh. From Kalka station taxis are easily available for tourists to reach Kasauli.

Kasauli is connected by an excellent network of roads with cities like Delhi, Solam, Shimla, Ambala and Chandigarh. From here tourists can take taxis or Volvo buses to reach Kasauli. Bus service is frequent with lots of options to choose from. NH1 and NH22 connect Delhi with Kasauli and it is a 6 hour journey. From Chandigarh, it is a 2 hour ride via NH22.
