Fagu

Situated in between valleys and tall mountains and surrounded by apple orchards all around, Fagu is one of the most famous attractions in Kufri. Fagu is one of the highest points on the hill station of Kufri, which makes it pleasant and cool throughout the year. It serves as an ideal picnic spot in the summers and a wonderful skiing spot during the winters. Fagu being 6 km from Kufri is a great path to trek on and attracts a number of trekkers and botanists who are interested in exotic fauna. You can even choose to climb the hills on horseback, or on a yak. Once you reach the top, you can attain blessing at the Banhthia Devta Temple which is worth visiting due to its amazing wood carvings.
The Himalayan Nature Park

Spread over 90 acres, is the Himalayan Nature Park that houses a wide variety of flora and fauna that are native to that region and are protected under the Wildlife Protection Act. This is a major tourist attraction, especially if you are travelling with children. This region has multiple rivers; both small and big, flowing throughout the park, making the habitat for animals even more natural. You can spot various animals like hangals, barking deer, brown bear, and leopards; also birds like cheer, khalij, monal and many more can be seen in the park. In 2014, this park was declared as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, making it even more popular.
Mahasu Peak

Climb upwards from Kufri, to reach the highest peak in the region known as Mahasu Peak to witness breathtaking views of the Badrinath and Kedarnath ranges. The best way to reach this peak is to hike through dense deodar forests on foot or ride a horse or a yak on the upwards ascend. Summers are the best times to go on this trek due to favourable climatic conditions. But, if you are in for some adventure and would like to go skiing, Mahasu peak is the best place in Kufri to feed your adrenaline. The soft and smooth slopes at the Mahasu peak is a great spot for beginners as well as experienced skiers.

This amusement park, known as Kufri Fun World, has a number of rides for the entertainment of children as well as adults. The best part about this amusement park is that it is set at a high altitude, and one can sit on a merry go round or on a swinging boat and enjoy the view of the breathtaking mountains. Indira Tourist Park

The Indira Tourist Park is situated right beside the Himalayan National Park. Located at a distance of 19 km from Shimla, the Indira Tourist Park was set up for the purpose of relaxation and solace of mind. Horse and Yak rides are common things to do in the park by people of all age groups. There are various things to do in the vicinity to feel refreshed and rejuvenated; you can visit the beer bar, eat ice cream at an ice cream parlour or take your children to the video parlour, all of which is set up in the park itself. The lovely views of the mountains around make it an ideal place for local families to enjoy picnics on the weekends as well.
Chini Bangla

Chini Bangla is one of the most famous attractions in Kufri; it was the home of Mr Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, Pakistan’s President, during the Shimla agreement and also the home of Indira Gandhi – former Prime Minister of India. The structure is famous for its British architecture, which resembles buildings and houses during the colonial era. The stunning views of the mountains in the background make Chini Bangla look beautiful. This historical structure was made of timber at first, but later on was replaced by stones.
